The redevelopment of Tunney’s Pasture is a collaboration between PSPC and Canada Lands Company, with the engagement of Indigenous Peoples, surrounding communities and key stakeholders.

PUBLIC SERVICES AND PROCUREMENT CANADA

PSPC manages one of the largest and most diverse portfolios of real estate in the country and is the Government of Canada's real property expert. As such, PSPC manages the federal office portfolio including the federal employment site at Tunney’s Pasture.

PSPC is responsible for providing strategic guidance on building maintenance services for the federal buildings at Tunney’s Pasture to ensure the operation, maintenance and management services of the systems and assets support the critical work that is accomplished at this site, including critical scientific research. .

PSPC will continue its role in the management of federal office and accommodation requirements at Tunney’s Pasture.

CANADA LANDS COMPANY

Canada Lands is a self-financing, federal Crown corporation that specializes in real estate development and attractions management. The Company’s goal, in all it does, is to produce the best possible benefit for Canadian communities and the Government of Canada.

For Tunney’s Pasture, PSPC has called on Canada Lands to complete the planning for the lands to be identified as surplus to the federal requirements and development in accordance with the Vision and Guiding Principles for Tunney’s Pasture.

Canada Lands’ role at Tunney’s Pasture is to leverage its over 25-years of award-winning real estate development expertise and create a dynamic residential component that supports the surrounding community and federal government requirements. It will seek the necessary municipal approvals, and create opportunities for a range of housing types and affordability, vibrant green and open spaces and commercial amenities.
